Q. What is the layout of your hotel? [ Check in ]

A.

We have two buildings. The first building is the business center called “Shin Umeda Kenshu center“. The second building is the hotel residence building called “S.TRAINING CENTER HOTEL”. The hotel's reception desk is located inside the business center.[ Directly in front of the hotel ]
We give you your room key when you check in.
Please pay the hotel fee on a vending machine by yourself to activate the room key.

Q.Are doors to any entrance of the hotel locked at a certain time at night, and will guests need to tap their room key to re enter?

A.

Yes, they are. You always need the key when you open the entrance door. You can get the card key on the first floor of the business center building which closes at 11 pm.

Q.Is there internet access?

A.

Yes. WiFi is available in all rooms. Passwords can be found on the booklet in your room.

Q.What is your smoking policy?

A.

Smoking is NOT permitted in hotel rooms. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations.

Q.Can I bring children, and if so is the fare the same as for an adult?

A.

In our semi-double room one child is included free of charge accompanied by only one adult. Adult: Elementary school students and older.
Child: kindergarteners and younger.
When you book it, please tell us more specific information. How many adults or children are in your group?

Q.Does the hotel accept pets?

A.

Unfortunately, we can NOT accept pets.

Q.Does your hotel offer room accommodations for people with disabilities?

A.

Yes, it does. We have a few rooms specifically for people with disabilities. Our facilities cater to persons with disabilities however, there is limited availability. Please contact us before your arrival.

Q.I forgot my stuff at the hotel. What should I do?

A.

We will hold your belongings at the hotel for one month. However, we throw foods and underwear away the next day.

Q.Can I take a shared bath without being a guest at the hotel?

A.

Unfortunately shared the bath is only for guests of the hotel. Shared baths are free for the duration of your stay. There are specific schedules for men and women.
The schedules are as follows:Women 5pm-9pm, Men:9:30pm-1am

Q.Do you offer laundry service?

A.

Unfortunately, we don't offer any laundry services at our hotel, but there are laundromats on the other side of the street.

Q.Can you store my luggage before check in and after check out ?

A.

When you arrive, your luggage may be stored from 8am until your room is ready. When you check out, we can store your luggage from 11 am until the front desk closes at 11 pm.

Q.Can I have my luggage shipped to the hotel?

A.

Sure! Please make sure to write your name, your phone number and arrival date on your luggage.

Q.Can I have a package send to my house?

A.

Yes please come to the front desk during working hours: 7am-11pm

Q.Could you call a taxi for me?

A.

Sure! Please tell us what time you would like to picked up and please make sure to be at the entrance of the hotel by at least 5 minutes before arrival time.

Q.I would like to know some details regarding the earthquake proof structure of the hotel.

A.

The building was completed in March 2017, opened in April 2017.
Regarding earthquake resistance standards, it is built in accordance to the latest standards.

Q. What time is check in and check out?

A.

Check in is from 4 pm to 11pm and check out is by 11 am.

Q.We will be arriving late from original plan. How do we check in if reception is closed?

A.

If you know in advance that you will be arriving late, please make a note of this in the "Special requests" section of the reservation form. If you will arrive more than two hours late from original plan or 11pm, please contact the hotel directly through e-mail. Contact us
After 11 pm please ring the doorbell. A Security guard will attend to you.

Q.Can I check in early or late?

A.

Regular check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is by 11am. We will be happy to accommodate special requests based on availability. If you arrive before your room is available, the front desk will hold your luggage from 8am until your room is ready.
Early-check in and late check-out is subject to an additional fee.
Before check in, which is from 12 pm to 4 pm and after check out which is from 11 am to 2 pm, there will be an additional charge of 1000 yen per hour per room. If you stay after 2pm, we charge a full night’s rate.

Q.What forms of payment are accepted, and when can I pay the hotel fee?

A.

Please pay with credit card or cash upon arrival: MUFG card, DC card, UFJ card, NICOS, VISA, Master Card, JCB, Diners Club international, American Express, Discover and Union Pay.
*We can NOT accept your check.

Q.Is same day check out available in your hotel?

A.

Unfortunately, we do not have same day check out services.

Q.Can I have a room reservation on that day?

A.

Yes. A plan without breakfast can be booked online before 22pm.
After 22pm, this plan can be booked at the hotel's reception desk.
After 23pm, the hotel reception will close, so you can ring the doorbell and book directly.
You can also purchase a morning set without reservation, for 400 yen.
Please feel free to use our breakfast service.

Q.How does the hotel deal with cancelations?

A.

We can accept cancellations only in the event of a natural disaster. There will be no fee in this circumstance.

Q.Can I be put on a wait list if you are sold out?

A.

Unfortunately, we do not have wait lists. You are welcome to check our website to see if the dates you are requesting have become available.

Q.How can I know what days are available for making a room reservation?

A.

If you can click on the date you want to request, then it is available for reservation.

Q.If I have a special receipt request, what should I do?

A.

Please tell us your receipt request upon arrival.

Q. Can I bring back the room key to my home as a memorabilia?

Unfortunately, you must return it at checkout.

Q.What should I do when I check out?

A.

If you have no room charge, just drop the key into a returned key box at the entrance.
But, if you have any room charge, please come to the front desk.

Q.Is there parking space at your facility?

A.

Yes, there is.
◆Car park◆The prices are as follows:
Guests checked into the hotel must pay 1500 yen per night.
Before check in and after check out, 300 yen/hour Any guest, who has checked out must leave the car park by 4pm. If they remain, they will be charged full price for that day.
Our facility has parking spaces for a maximum of 10 vehicles. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
The height of any vehicles using our parking facility should not exceed 1550mm.
From 11-pm to 7am the carpark is closed, therefore access to your vehicles will be restricted during these times.
There are many paid public parking lots outside of the hotel. If you have any questions, please ask us on arrival.

Q.Is it possible to bring my family or friends who are not booked?

A.

NO. We do not allow visitors to enter the rooms of our guests.

Q.Is there a shop where I can buy some snacks in the hotel?

A.

Yes. There is a shop on the first floor of the business center. We provide some snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and stationary.

Yes there is.
There is a restaurant located on the 1st floor that serves coffee, but there is NOT a bar in the hotel.

Q.Can I have breakfast at a restaurant without a reservation?

A.

    (When you go outside from the hotel, turn right and keep going down the street for just 10 sec., then you'll be able to see the entrance of the business center.)

Q.Is there lunch or dinner available at a restaurant of the hotel?

A.

We have a restaurant on the first floor of the business center building.
During lunch time, everyone can go there.
However, for dinner, reservation is necessary and only groups with more than 15 people will be accepted. Please make a reservation one week in advance.

Q.Can I go to the bar with slippers or loungewears ?

A.

Unfortunately, please wear your loungewear and slippers inside your rooms and refrain from wearing your slippers or loungewears outside.

Q.I'm allergic to some foods. Is it possible to make a special request?

A.

I'm allergic to some foods. Is it possible to make a special request? Only with a reservation. If you have special requests, please let us know beforehand.
We will accommodate as much as possible, but we use the same cooking utensils, so the possibility of allergen contamination may not be eliminated.
Allergen: eggs, milk, dairy, wheat, peanuts, shellfish etc. There are many restaurants and 24/7 convenience stores within walking distance from the hotel.

Q.Do the rooms have a full bath with toilet?

A.

No. We have a toilet, sink and shower separately, but NO bathtub. We offer a shared bath with a pleasant view of greenery with enclosed sauna on the first floor. Shared baths are free for the duration of your stay. Please remember to bring a towel from your room as there are no towels there. We do NOT allow to clothing to be worn in the shared bath. There are specific schedules for men and women. the schedules are as follows:Women 5pm-9pm Men 9:30pm-1am

Q.Is there a room service in the hotel?

A.

No, there isn’t.

Q.Can I open the hotel room windows for fresh air?

A.

Yes, you can.

Q.Can you make an outgoing call on the phone in the room?

A.

NO, it is NOT used for outside services, only for hotel use.

Q.Is there a kitchen facility at the hotel?

A.

We’re sorry. There is NO ice making machine, microwave oven, oven etc. however, we do have some vending machine in the hotel.

Q.How many towels do you provide for guests?

A.

We normally provide one towel set per person which is included in the hotel fee.
An additional towel set [a bath towel and a face towel] will incur a 100 yen charge tax included.

Q.What types of amenities are included in your rooms?

A.

All of our rooms include the following amenities: Semi double bed [140cm×195cm], mini desk, toilet with electronic bidet, sink, shower stall, Wi-fi, telephone [ only for hotel use], flat TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, central heating and cooling, air purifier with humidifier, safe deposit boxes, trash can, hair dryer, air freshener, blanket, desk lamp, slippers and toiletries.
Guests are permitted to keep all toiletries [shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body scrub towel, comb, disposable toothbrush with toothpaste, disposable razor, cotton, cotton swab ] excluding towels.

Q.Is there a clothes iron in the hotel?

A.

A trouser press, iron, and ironing board are available upon request from the hotel front desk.
Please contact the reception desk at extension 99 in order to make a request.

Q.Is there a humidifier in the hotel room?

A.

All of our guestrooms have humidifiers.

Q.Is there a DVD player in the hotel room?

A.

Unfortunately, we have no DVD players in the hotel.

Q.Can I go to a restaurant with slippers or loungewears?

A.

Unfortunately, you may NOT wear your loungewear and slippers to the restaurant. Please wear your clothes and shoes.
